Dear Friends,
The construction project for De La Salle is entering its final phase, and is due to be completed by the end of September. This phase involves finish work on the parking lot, driveway, sidewalks, and curbs. It will look great when finished, but in the meantime we will experience some additional parking and entryway inconveniences.
PARKING. The angled parking along the driveway close to Killingsworth will no longer be available. We will continue to have pass-through access to allow drop off at the church entry: enter from 42nd Ave and exit onto Killingsworth. However, at times the driveway will be rough gravel and narrow. DO NOT PARK ALONG THE SIDE OF THE DRIVEWAY! If you are able-bodied, please park off campus: Emerson Street, 42nd Ave, PCC lot.
CHURCH ACCESS. For the first two weeks of August, access to the church and Parish Offices will be available only via the Emerson Street doors. The north entryway will be closed during this time, even on the weekends. Exact dates are subject to change. I will keep you updated.
