Relaxation and self-care are insufficient because they don't address the root causes of burnout. Burnout is a multifaceted problem that requires us to consider many ways to address it.

Beat Burnout is a 6-hour program that brings you fresh ideas, action steps, key skills, and energizing momentum to make tangible changes starting immediately.

In these dynamic, engaging 6 hours you will have the opportunity to:

  • Know exactly what is draining your energy at work and what to do about it

  • Boldly align your energy with your values to increase your impact at work (and STOP wasting your time and talents)

  • Learn new tricks and skills for unapologetically preserving your time and energy

  • Nail down your professional boundaries and how you enact them in words (with scripts!) and actions

  • Build confidence with communicating clearly and effectively, even in frustrating and nerve-wracking situations

And guilt. GUILT! We will focus on new mindsets that will help you address the guilt and fear that inevitably pops up when you decide to get your work situation under control.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This workshop is for professionals who want to actively work on their particular situation, as well as gain new skills to share with clients, patients, students, team members, and supervisees. Maine Social Workers are approved for 6 credit hours. Participation in this program is open to anyone! You can join from any geographic location.
