Who is Blue FCU? Their Do-Good Campaign Supports Farmers Markets in Colorado

Blue Federal Credit Union has a mission to do good in their communities, and in 2020 they chose to focus on supporting local farmers in Colorado. When partners put Blue FCU in touch with the Colorado Farmers Market Association, we were excited about the opportunity for support for CFMA and farmers markets around the state. It's important to us that our partners and sponsors align with our values as an organization. CFMA chose to partner with Blue FCU because they are locally owned (Colorado and Wyoming) and as a credit union, they are a member-owned co-op.

Blue's 2020 Do-Good Campaign kicked off the opening of three Colorado branches, in Granby, Erie, and South Denver. Thanks to great participation from our community, Blue's Do-Good campaign raised a total of $12,750. These funds  will make it possible for CFMA to create a new, much-needed website, and will also support farmers markets near the new Blue branches: the Granby Farmers Market, the Erie Farmers Market and the South Pearl Street Farmers Market (Denver). In addition, Blue Foundation chose to sponsor CFMA's 2021 Annual Conference in March, with a $3000 sponsorship, which had a huge impact for our conference and our community!. Check out the video of the check presentations with Rosalind and B here and here

The Colorado Farmers Market Association extends our sincere appreciation to Blue for their partnership and their support of Colorado's farmers markets.

As part of our partnership, Blue is offering a series of four Financial Literacy Seminars to the CFMA community – the next one is July 15th – see details below!
