WEEKLY UPDATE
For Viva Village Members and Volunteers
Hi Linda, It's nice to have you back as a member of Viva VIllage! Here is this week's Update that is sent to VV members and volunteers. It's a good way to stay in touch with what's going on in the Village.

All the best, Kathy Brown
VIVA VILLAGE GOVERNING COUNCIL MESSAGE

Effective July 7th, the Village is OPEN!

On July 6, the Viva Village Governing Council voted to return to pre-pandemic operations with the following stipulations:

Non-vaccinated individuals must wear a mask when participating in any Village event or meeting or entering the Viva Village office.

Mask wearing and social distancing practices for vaccinated individuals are at their comfort level and discretion.

The office will be open for meetings in the back room for up to 8 people. The front room of the office will only be used by office staff unless someone is receiving assistance from the office volunteer.

Each event group or action team will determine if their meeting will be on Zoom or in-person based on space availability and the desires of the group.

The Governing Council thanks our members and volunteers for the patience, care, and support you have given each other and the Village during these difficult 16 months. Our Village remained healthy and strong thanks to all of you.

We will continue to monitor guidelines and reports from the Oregon Health Authority and Washington County and will make any adjustments if needed.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Mike Conner or Karen McCune, Governing Council co-chairs:
vivavillageor@gmail.com,
