Update from Bp. Manasseh in Rwanda
Dear Father Alan and Gayle,
Warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been quite a while since we last communicated. Our world has changed and it seems the situation is getting worse every passing day. I hope and pray that the Lord protects and keeps you safe. I believe the Covid situation in the US is getting better. I have been seeing many walking without face masks.

Here, we have been having movement restrictions for the past over two weeks; but with each passing day, numbers of infections and deaths are increasing. Our village has many families locked down because of infections; people in the neighborhood are dying every day. We are told there is a dangerous variant called Delta in our country. Already it has killed very many people in India.

Pray for us really because now hospitals are overwhelmed with oxygen need, and beds becoming less and less; yet numbers of Covid patients are increasing every day. Churches are still closed but we are not complaining because it is the only solution that can save many. I trust prayers of God's faithful are heard because He promised that when we obey Him and do what is righteous before Him, His eyes will be on us and He will listen to our prayers.

Kind regards my beloved friends. May the Lord bless you in all you do.
+Manasseh.
Important upcoming dates
October 10th, our bishop Morales will be at Grace Anglican Fellowship for his annual Episcopal visit. New members will be received during that service. Please plan to attend. We are planning a dinner on the 9th so that you may meet Bishop Morales during an informal time. We will let you know when arrangements are made.

October 21 - 23 is our Diocese of Quincy annual Synod meeting in Peoria. If anyone is interested in attending as an observer, please contact Fr. Alan.

In early November we are praying that Bishop Manasseh can be with us for a few days. God willing, he will be in the States for the enthronement of Rev. Cn. Alan Hawkins as Bishop Coadjutor of the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope on November 5th. We will keep you posted.
In case you were wondering...
Join us at the "Heatherington House" on Sunday evenings and Wednesdays evenings for study, worship, and Holy Eucharist. It is what Christians have done from the very beginning! The schedule is on the website: www.graceanglicanfellowship.org.
