Safety Boat Coxswains: Bucks Search and Rescue team.
The Bar will be open from 18:30.
Following your requests, Keith is now stocking non-alcoholic lager.

Wednesday Volunteering
Thanks to Derek Beck for servicing all the lockers ready for the season and to Huw MacAdoo for his patience in splicing the halyards for the flagpole and the strop for the back of our Humber safety boat.
We tried to get a picture of Chris moving in the boat park but the grass is now so long we could not see him.
If you can help tidy around your area it would be greatly appreciated.

Safety Boat Refresher Course 2.0
17th July
This course is the second in the safety boat refresher series.
The day will cover Foil, WASZPs, Wing & Windsurf recovery.
This is a must for Safety Coxswains as these groups are growing so fast.

Catamaran Fleet Day
The "Reservoir Cats" have been busy on Whatsapp arranging for a fleet day on
Sunday 1st August
Schedule for the day is a secret only known to the Cat fleet?
If you would like to join them but haven't got a boat this high performace Nacra 17 has just come on the market to club members. It is one of the first of the new Olympic class and is very fast.

Congratulations to Ian Duke for his success at the K1 open meeting held at Datchet last weekend and if you missed it you can read all about it as featured in Yachts and Yachting

Well done to all of the sailors who entered these events from Datchet and our club member Stephen Hale who was the Race Officer. if you enter open meetings let us know so we can celebrate your successes.

Whatsapp Groups

The club has a number of Whatsapp Groups running where members can contact each other to organise sailing, racing, windsurfing or social events. Many members belong to a number of groups. In case you are missing out and want to be involved the following groups are currently running:
Racing: Sunday and Wednesday evening groups
Fleets: Reservoir Cats, FF, Wayfarer, Lasers, RS Aero, Catamarans, WASZPs, K1s, Handicap Fleet, Windsurf, Wingfoil.
Youth: Datchet Youth team, 20-knot Squad
Young Adults Group -for those interested in social outings, SUP on the Thames, primarily aimed at 18 - 35-year-olds.
Club Officials: Race Officer, Safety Coxswain and Instructors groups.

Let us know if you would like to be included in any of the groups.
