Annual Survey 

Thank you to all of the programs that completed the annual survey. If you haven't, please schedule time to complete the survey   Completion of the Annual Survey of Iowa mentoring programs is required for certified partners.  Your program information provides important insights and data about youth mentoring Iowa to support programs more effectively and highlight the need for further support.  It is essential for accurate data on the state of mentoring in Iowa that ALL PROGRAMS complete the survey. Survey questions are available for preview. 

NEW NMRC WEBSITE

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and MENTOR National are excited to announce the launch of the National Mentoring Resource Center’s new website! The National Mentoring Resource Center is a comprehensive and reliable resource for mentoring tools, program and training materials, as well as access to no-cost training and technical assistance. The website, which originally launched in 2014, has been recently refreshed with a brand-new look and feel to ensure ease of use as the National Mentoring Resource Center continues to be the premier resource hub for the youth mentoring field

VOLUNTEER IOWA AWARDS CEREMONY

Governor Kim Reynolds and Lt. Governor Adam Gregg will induct the 2020 and 2021 Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame members and present the Excellence in Mentoring awards to two individuals for their dedication and service as mentors and mentor advocates in their communities in an in person ceremony to be held at the Iowa State Capitol building on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
 
Being selected for the Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame is the most prestigious state-level honor volunteers can receive as recognition of extraordinary donations of volunteer service to their communities.

2021 IOWA NONPROFIT SUMMIT REGISTRATION OPEN

The Iowa Nonprofit Summit Planning Committee and Sponsors are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2021 Iowa Nonprofit Summit! Join us October 5th – 7th for an interactive virtual event and take advantage of the latest resources available to help nonprofits thrive.
The biennial Summit offers essential learning opportunities relevant to staff in a variety of nonprofit, civic, foundation, volunteer engagement, government and national service roles, including but not limited to Board Members, Executive Directors, Program Directors, Resource Development staff, and AmeriCorps members.
Registration fees for the 2021 Nonprofit Summit are:
  • Individual rate: $25
  • Certified Service Enterprise Organizations: $20
  • National Service Member: $15
You don't want to miss out on numerous break-out sessions, networking opportunities, and engaging keynote presentations. Session topics include change management, funding strategic volunteer engagement, adaptive leadership, volunteer impact, board leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) and more.
