SUP YOGA


We will be delivering another SUP Yoga session on the evening on 16th July.  The sessions are open to everyone, you don't need prior experience.
  • Bring your own board - £8
  • Use a Club Board - £13.50
  • Use a Club Board & a Club Member £11.50

Summer Holiday Paddling


As with previous years, Monday night sessions will move to the outdoor pool only from 26th July and returning to the indoor pool on 6th September.  This will be an opportunity to try out a selection of different craft and skills.

Session Fees:
  • Junior Members - £3.00
  • Senior Members - £3.50
  • Junior Non-Members - £5.00
  • Senior Non-Members - £5.50

Club Camping & Family Weekend 2022


When : 28th and 29th May 2022
Where : Water House Campsite, Ullswater


We have set a date and location for next years Club Camping & Family Weekend:  This is open to all Club members and their families.

Please book your place and then send an email to kkcevents@googlegroups.com, telling us who will be coming in your party.  This will allow us to plan the activities and we will contact you closer to the date to arrange equipment if you need to borrow this form the Club.

Marathon racing is conducted in divisions; the lower divisions can use any sort of kayak or canoe but higher divisions use specialised marathon boats, long, narrow and very unstable when stationary!

Canoe polo is played by teams of five and the basic aim is for them to pass the ball from player to player, by hand, and score in their opponents’ goal while at the same time defending their own goal.

Slalom competitions take place every weekend throughout the country. Division 4 is suitable for beginners of any age. Slalom helps with the development of speed, boat control and white water skills which can be used in all aspects of canoeing and kayaking.
