National Farmers Market Week, August 1-7
Greetings CFMA,
Every year, Farmers Markets are celebrated nationally and for the last three years, Colorado has made a proclamation of our importance.
Please join us in celebrating our success! CFMA would like to help you promote your market, farmers markets nationwide, and also draw attention to the important contributions our association has made to our markets statewide.
CFMA has supported farm stands, farmers markets and their invaluable staff and volunteers for over 20 years. Last year's COVID -19 pandemic brought into sharp focus both the essential nature of farmers markets in our communities and also the tremendous backbone of support that our state organization brings to all markets! From clear communication with state agencies, to support calls for market managers to distributions of grant funds, CFMA supported the success of Colorado's markets and continues to do so beyond the "crisis mode."
CFMA is growing and we are looking to expand our financial resources that we use to help all of YOU! We are asking for your help to fundraise for CFMA. During National Farmers Market Week events, please ask your market customers to make a donation to your market and markets statewide through our organization. We will send out stickers for you to offer to your customers as well as provide a short info sheet about CFMA and how your market benefits from our organization. We would like to suggest that any donations collected through these efforts be divided (ideally 50/50) between your own market and CFMA.
CFMA is here to help promote and support your market and we are now asking for your help to promote our organization and support our work!
