The label will help shoppers quickly identify food made in our province when choosing an item at their local farmers’ market or grocery store. Watch for the "Made in Alberta, by Albertans" label on Alberta products in the future.

Visa Canada announced its second She’s Next Grant Program in partnership with IFundWomen. Through this program Visa Canada is providing ten $10,000 grants + a year of business coaching to women entrepreneurs in Canada. Eligible applicants can apply by August 3rd.

Expanding Indigenous businesses in Alberta
Aboriginal Business Investment Fund (ABIF) grants are now open for 2021-22 submissions. Indigenous community-owned businesses can apply for capital grants up to $500,000 to create jobs and stimulate local economies. (Deadline for submission is September 30)
