Locally grown Agriculture and Forestry has developed a new Made in Alberta, by Albertans label that farmers and processors can use on their products. The label will help shoppers quickly identify food made in our province when choosing an item at their local farmers’ market or grocery store. Watch for the "Made in Alberta, by Albertans" label on Alberta products in the future.

Indigenous Business Resources
Pitch to win! Pow Wow Pitch is accepting submissions for Indigenous Entrepreneurs businesses that are new to hiring or who need support finding the right resources to help them hire the perfect candidates. (Deadline for submission is July 29)
Expanding Indigenous businesses in Alberta Aboriginal Business Investment Fund (ABIF) grants are now open for 2021-22 submissions. Indigenous community-owned businesses can apply for capital grants up to $500,000 to create jobs and stimulate local economies. (Deadline for submission is September 30)
