REMINDER:  See You at the Disaster Preparedness Mini Fairs!

If you're in Valmonte, Montemalaga or Lunada Bay East (near PV Intermediate School), this Saturday, 7/31, is the Disaster Preparedness Mini Fair in your neighborhood. Other neighborhoods will have their event on Saturday, 8/7. Find out time and location on our website.

This will be a fun event for residents of all ages with prizes, information and give aways! 

Come for Fun and Community Connection 

  • View spectacular drone demonstrations provided by Flying Lion
  • Say hello to PVE PD and Fire Department representatives
  • Take photos by Police and Fire vehicles
  • Visit us at the PVE Neighborhood Watch booth for a special gift
  • Stop by PVE Foundation booth for the special drawing for unique prizes
  • Learn about Community volunteer groups who are helping us to be prepared for emergencies and disasters
  • Find out what you can do to make your home safer and to be prepared in case of an emergency or disaster

Choose the Nearest Disaster Preparedness Mini Fair

Our City is divided into 6 areas/districts which allow for safety and disaster preparedness teams to best support our community.  These areas/districts are Valmonte, Malaga Cove, Montemalaga, Lunada Bay West, Lunada Bay South and Lunada Bay East.  Use this map to find out your area/district.

There is a disaster location for each of our 6 areas/districts within PVE, one at each school in the corresponding area as noted below.

July 31 (This Saturday)

August 7 

Come out and find out about our many volunteer groups (DDP, NART, Parkland Rangers, VIPS), ham radios, drones and more. Discover opportunities to volunteer and get involved. We have a wonderful dedicated volunteer organizations that work together during times of need.

Looking forward to seeing you this Saturday or next Saturday and getting you know our neighbors and how our city works together to keep us safe.
