Survey to understand barriers to self-isolation
Have you had to self-isolate in the last six months?
Hertfordshire County Council is carrying out a survey to understand the challenges and barriers people face when required to self-isolate, so that they can be better supported to do so.
People are currently required to self-isolate for 10 days if they experience symptoms of Covid-19, test positive for the virus or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms or tests positive.
For many people self-isolation can be a difficult undertaking. The survey asks questions about your experiences of self-isolation, including details of when you may have left home during the 10-day isolation period. There will be no follow-up or consequences for disclosing that you left home during a period of self-isolation. In fact, your openness will help us to better understand what support is needed.
The survey can be completed anonymously, takes around 15 minutes to complete and closes on Friday 20 August 2021.
Many of us have struggled to stay at our best in the last 18 months. A new NHS campaign aims to help us shed any lockdown pounds we might have gained, ditch the bad habits and get some more exercise. The main lesson is that it's best to start with small, simple changes that we can stick to, to help both our physical and mental health
