Summer 2021 Newsletter

Summer is sizzling, time to chill out with a cool read!  Seeking a summer get away to beat the heat?  Grab a travel guide to get inspired.  The library has a variety of guides to national parks and US travel destinations to help you plan your ideal vacation.

Don't forget, our librarians are on hand to help you find the book you're seeking from another library through the PALS Plus system if it's not currently on our shelves.

How has the Covid-19 period affected you?
What are some of your experiences?
Have you been disadvantaged or benefited during the lockdown?
Have you started doing something new, or changed your habits?
How has it affected your daily life?

This summer, the Friends of the Library are compiling local residents’ experiences, both positive and negative. We’re looking for comments of 10-15 words or more, to be published in a compendium to be made available at the library so we can look back on these unusual times.

Share your comments and experiences:
  • On social media, #PLLibraryFriends
  • By email:  friends@friendsofpomptonlakeslibrary.org
  • Drop your printed comments at the Library desk or in the outdoor book drop - 333 Wanaque Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ

We'll be screening his life story, along with some insights on the time Louis spent in Pompton Lakes, NJ.
