It is thus important that man perceives Divinity in everything, everywhere and in all. He who can see this oneness in the duality of existence is a Guru, a Jnani. This alone is the purpose of life.
It is only by following the word of the Guru with complete surrender, strength, and intensity of being that His grace can be earned and one’s own Divinity can be realized.
Therefore, it becomes imperative that every man understands his own Divinity and experiences it, for the one who knows God becomes God!

We are attaching a small presentation on the new Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital that Swami inaugurated on Guru Purnima morning.
It was more than a bit shocking as we had toured the hospital three days before and it was bare-bones; the entryway was unfinished, the building had not been painted, no beds, no equipment, no flooring, unfinished walls, no lighting, and even the ceiling was unfinished.
What a delight it was to see how much can be done in just a few days. The entire team worked around the clock to make it happen. AND you are all part of that team. Your loving support, prayers, and good wishes have made this possible for the children of the surrounding villages and others in need of medical care.
As you know, this 150-bed unit is the first step in a much larger effort to provide desperately needed medical care to this area. If you haven’t heard, Swami also announced that it would become part of a nursing school, a paramedic training center, and a medical school; all completely free of cost! Truly an amazing effort!!

Antenatal Care for Pregnant Women
with COVID-19
|
|
|
|
To provide comprehensive antenatal care for COVID-19 recovered pregnant women, Sai Sanjeevani, Nava Raipur Hospital launched a unique Maternal Health Program involving gynecologist consultations, blood tests, SaiSure micronutrient supplementation, ultrasonography and Fetal ECHO services for adequate care and timely detection of any abnormalities in pregnant women who were COVID-19 positive during any month of their pregnancy.
Recognizing the importance of this program for this subset of COVID-19 patients, special camps were organized in urban and rural areas of Durg District, Chattisgarh with the support from Durg District Collector, Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure. 118 pregnant women were provided essential antenatal valuation and consultation. High-risk pregnant women detected in these camps were brought in Government vehicles to Sanjeevani Hospital for a Fetal ECHO test. Regular follow up and counselling services are being provided to these women for addressing any issues they may encounter. They associated them to respective Government Centers in their regions for continued care.

When a doctor selflessly serves his patients with the intent to help them and alleviate their sufferings, it becomes his or her path to liberation. Those who take to this path of selfless service will undoubtedly be looked after by God, and all their requirements will be provided for by Him. The entire universe will come to the aid of such a person. God’s strength multiplies with each one of us doing our bit in the mission of service.
Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals have constantly endeavored to think of that which has never been thought of, to do that which has never been done thus far and to say that which has never been said. There might be more experienced doctors outside Sanjeevani. But the dedication, love, compassion and competence of our doctors is unmatched! The aim and vision of Sanjeevani are to create a congenital heart disease-free world.

We ask you to pray for the safety of all at this crucial time when we are facing two deadly diseases, Dengue and COVID-19, floods, landslides as well as environmental pollution of sea, air and rain. Since the lockdown continues and infection rates have increased, we will be doing another food drop for 125 families in Kirankulam.
|
|
|
With our food packs this time we will include a home care kit comprising of masks, soap, coriander, garlic, ginger, sugar, Samahan, Jeevani, balm, salt for gargles as well as Vitamins C, B, D, zinc, Bifilac and Panadol to cope with any onset of viral symptoms like headache, body pains, etc. Jeevani is an oral rehydration salt in case it is needed during fever. Samahan is an herbal tea used during fevers. Securing items in the quantities we need is no easy task in times of lockdown.

We will also educate our families with flyers on how to stay safe and well. Our flyers will contain basic methods like exercises, sunlight, masking, distancing, etc. We have 7 staff members from our village and they will help our villages stay calm and free of anxiety and worry at these times.

Humble Beginnings of the Breakfast Program
|
|
|
|
Nine years ago, on July 5th 2012 the breakfast program for school children was started in a remote village called Doddabelle, Kengeri in South Bangalore, India.
Currently, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, with the support of 500 volunteers has taken up this very unique program of providing FREE morning nutrition to over 500,000 school going children across 6000+ Government Schools in 17 States and 3 Union Territories.
It inspires and motivates a lot when such selfless volunteers participate daily in the program and create a People's Movement (Jan Andolan). Similar service initiatives have started in 6 other countries - Indonesia, Sri Lanka , Malaysia, Thailand, Nigeria and Australia. Going to the village by 6:30 am in the morning and serving fresh, hot breakfast to these children has become a daily habit for many supporting volunteers.
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they are felt within the heart. This has been the experience everyday for taking part in these programs and sharing LOVE for these tender-hearted children. Even during the current pandemic, the volunteers continue to be in touch with the beneficiary children supporting their parents by providing a month's ration of supplies, education and healthcare support. More than 125,000 families have benefited over the past 18 months. Health Supplements in the form of SaiSure Micronutrient were given to malnourished children; 25,000+ COVID-19 affected patients received Nutrition Kits in the last 3 months along with Oxygen Concentrators/PPE Kits and other Healthcare equipment. Education Support for COVID-19-orphaned children has been provided.
These are the humble efforts of volunteers to make a real difference to those impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

It is important to develop firm faith that God loves and protects everyone and gives each what is required. It is only with such faith and devotion can one give up selfishness and serve everybody selflessly.
If each of us looks at another as being no different from ourselves, we will come to realise that in loving and hating another, we only love or hate ourselves. Once this realization sets in, forgiving becomes much easier.
