Salon Conversations on Mondays

Zoom in on Mondays for a quick 1/2 hour at noon with these amazing women leading in their respective fields—education, media, environment and public art! Join the Zoom here

Chess Outdoors every Wednesday in August

Join Queens Gambit Chess Institute and The Salon for a night of chess on the roof! Zero chess experience necessary. You can play in an informal setting or learn the basics of the game with Queens Gambit instructors. After three weeks of stimulating practice, we will keep a total of the highest scoring players. Whoever has the most points will receive a special prize! Sign up for the series or just drop in on Wednesday August 5 th, 12th, 18th or 26th.

The Salon’s Nonprofit Women Peer Support Group is a small and private space for regional women non-profit directors to connect, learn, share experiences and provide peer-led advice on navigating your community and organizational leadership during this turbulent time. This peer support group is designed as a safe space, where you can just show up, listen, share, bring your authentic self both personally and professionally, and exchange years and years of experience with your peers.

REFLECTIONS CIRCLE GATHERING

The Reflections Circle is a new way for us to gather for intimate explorations into ourselves and our relationship dynamics. Salon members and allies looking to form more authentic, abundant and healing connections jump in the circle, this one is for you! Gatherings are supported by a facilitator that will direct and guide our conversation as we navigate different topics and themes. We’ll be holding these on online and, you can join us from anywhere that has privacy.

Join Salon member anu jain for a BIPOC meet-up on Tuesday, July 27th at 6pm on Zoom! There are not enough opportunities to connect in Pittsburgh for BIPOC women. If you self-identify as a woman of color, join us in building community and uplifting each other.
