As many of you may already be aware, the CDC and DeKalb County Public Health Department have issued new guidelines due to the County's move into the “substantial” category. Beginning August 2, 2021, all programs heldindoors will require that staff and participants wear masks. This new mask requirement is for all individuals, no matter their vaccine status.
KSRA continues to follow all other previous guidelines. If an individual is unable to wear a mask for reasons cited by the CDC, we ask that you ensure 6 feet of distance from others or wear a facial covering to limit any possible exposures. Since we have a few more weeks in Summer and try to keep most of our programs outside, at this time this change only affects our indoor programs. However, this is a fluid statement and KSRA will follow all future guidance from the DeKalb County Public Health to ensure the health and safety of our participants, their families, and staff.
Fall 2021 is right around the corner! We are working on getting our fall programs planned and published in our next brochure. We have some new and exciting programs around the corner to Play, Laugh, Learn and Grow with KSRA in Fall 2021. Watch our social media for announcements and head to our website to register.
And speaking of our website - have you visited lately? The KSRA website will have a whole new look! We have been working to improve our site and are excited to launch this coming week. All features you already know and love remain on the site, plus a few new pieces - namely our brand new Foundation. Take a few minutes and check us out and let us know what you think. If you notice something missing or incorrect, please let Dawn know, and we will get it fixed. Sam, Pat, Nicoletta, and I have all been working hard on this for the past few months, and all our eyes might have missed something. We love it and hope you will, too!
