Summer Cohousing Picnic  • Hope to see you there!


Bring-your-own-everything picnic - shelter reserved

Wed., Aug. 4, 2021 - starts 6:00 pm & cleanup's at 8:00.

You'll also want to bring your own beverage and utensils (homemade or takeout food - it's up to you)

Enjoy the simple pleasure of picnicking with other people in real life. Outdoors & socially distanced,. Masking is up to you but is encouraged when you're not eating.
 

Special guest Rick Gravrock is a local cohouser who will be making giant bubbles for fun after we eat.

Families, friends, and children supervised by their parent(s)/guardian(s) are welcome!

Need takeout suggestions? Eggroll Queen Café is locally owned and nearby, as is Key's Café. Another alternative, Dock & Paddle is in the Como Park Pavilion. There are also lots of chain-restaurant choices along Snelling Ave.

Please register for this free event so that we'll expect you and we can reach you in case of any changes..

Bathrooms are located near the picnic shelter. Picnic-area parking is first come, first served.

ST PAUL SENIOR COHOUSING - East Side Age 50+ Cohousing Core Group

Monthly core group meetings through the summer & early fall at Como Park - next one is Wed., August 18th

There will be an informal gathering of people age 50+ interested in senior cohousing in the East Metro every 3rd Wednesday of the month through October 2021.
Cost: FREE
Upcoming dates: August 18, Sept. 15 and October 20. Rain or shine.
Time: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Location: Como fire rings, Como Park in St. Paul. Next to Como Ave, just east of Hamline Ave.
Agenda: socialize, have fun and meet!
Bring: your own food and beverage. Lawn chair if you wish. Games welcome.
Look for: the sign with a picture of a hot air balloon and the word COHO

This group is expected to grow. We hope to see you there!
