• Valley Health is hosting a Medical Imaging Virtual Open House on both Monday, August 2 and Monday, August 16, both from 4-5pm.  Register by clicking on the date but if you can't make those, email hrizzo@valleyhealthlink.com for more information.

• UVA is hosting a Virtual Information Session for Transfer Students on Tuesday, August 3 at 12noon.  
• Are you interested in a government career or remote internship? Last week's information session with PVCC's alumni, Vegas Curry and Aleena Haidari was recorded.  They shared information about both the VSFS remote internship program *and* full-time hiring with the State Dept. They have full-time IT, Security and Administrative positions - even for people who don't have a bachelor's degree!  Vegas was wonderful to share with us a number of career pathways where one of them, the Foreign Affairs IT Fellowship program is hosting a webinar next Thursday, August 12 at 2pm.  Register in advance.
• Grow with Google is offering a number of virtual career development workshops usually held on Tuesdays at 1pm. This week's event (on 8/3) is on Nail your Job Search.  
• UVA Credit Union provides great financial webinars that are free! One of them is a "Smart Start to College" on Tuesday, August 3 at 6pm or Wednesday, August 11 at 1pm.

• PVCC has a new Cafe (called the Panther Cafe) where they are seeking both Cafe Associates with a starting pay of $11/hour and a Manager with a starting pay of $13/hour. If interested, fill out the interest form.
• The Piedmont Family YMCA is hiring multiple people for three of their part-time after school 2021-22 positions in some of the Charlottesville City Schools: Site Director that pays $18-20/hour, Lead Counselor that pays $13-15/hour and Assistant Counselor (16+ years old) that starts at $12/hour.
