Fall Offerings Now Open for Registration!
Wow is there a lot going on this fall! New offerings first:
- What Shape is Your Dissertation? Understand how the structure of your argument affects the structure of your dissertation. $10. 90 minutes, Friday in September. (Date pending military's assignment of a move date.)
- Stats, Then and Now. Get yourself back up to speed with quantitative tools in your field! 5 weeks stats review, 5 weeks class-selected topics in quantitative analysis. Goal is developing reading and evaluation fluency. $150, 10 Fridays at noon central starting Sept 10 (pending military move date).
- Advanced Academic Writing. Back by popular demand! 5 weeks grammar and other essentials, 5 weeks style and academic genres. $150, 10 Thursdays at 8 AM Central starting Sept 9 (pending military move)
- Small-Group Book Development Group. Join other early-stage book authors in working on your theory chapter and/or proposal. Combination of one-on-one consults, group discussion and feedback, and one collaboratively reviewed document. Starts week of August 30. Registration open; link below.
- Small-Group Dissertation Coaching. Join other similarly situated grad students in writing your dissertation. Support, accountability, weekly mini-lessons or workshops, and a collaborative document review at the end of term. Sessions for early-stage writers (prospectus stage, Mondays 11 AM Central time) and late-stage writers (substantive chapters, Tuesdays 11 AM Central time). $150, starts week of Aug 30. - From To Do to Done: Project and Time Management for Grad Students. Take time out to develop a deliberate plan for this semester and beyond. Learn useful tools for managing the timeline of a major project. $10. 90 min, Friday in September (date pending move date assignment)

Developmental Editing Offerings
I've made big changes in my developmental editing offerings! They're now more in line with the traditional concept of developmental editing.
Traditional Developmental Editing gets you one read through the complete or nearly complete manuscript and an editorial letter (5-8 pages single spaced, usually). Optional 1 hr consult to discuss recommendations. Min 20 hrs of work, 30 day turnaround. $2000.
Enhanced Developmental Editing is all of the above plus a second briefer review when revisions are completed and up to three total meetings to discuss revisions. $3000.
Supported Developmental Editing is the enhanced package plus two four-month terms of coaching to support the revision process. This may include on-screen collaborative reviews of brief passages or outlines. $4000

Writer's Boot Camp writing retreats will return in September! I'm holding off on dates until the Air Force tells us when we're moving so I don't have to go changing anything. Watch this space for details!
