This has been a season of transitions! I returned in June from furlough in the States, and am quickly getting prepared to move from Santandrei to Brasov (another city in Romania, about 6 hours away from here) to begin a ministry. God is continuing to bless though, even in the midst of what feels like chaos!

It has been such a joy to be back in Romania this past month! Furlough was wonderful. I was able to visit churches, spend time with family and friends, and refocus my heart on the Lord. But at the end of the day, it is good to be home!

A table for six!

So I have to tell you all about this table. As many of you know, when I came back from the States, my first order of business was to begin apartment hunting in the area of Brasov. But even before I left the States, I had been praying about this new apartment, and had asked a good friend to pray with me. Specifically, I asked her to pray for an apartment with a table for 6. You see, one of my favorite things to do since I've moved into my own place is to host different families for dinner. This is a great time for team building, to build relationships with new people, or even to share the gospel! But since I was looking for a 2 bedroom apartment, I knew finding one with such a big dining space would be a challenge. Most apartments that size have a table for 4 at most...

When I got to Brasov to spend a few days apartment hunting, it seemed every apartment I wanted to look at was unavailable. And I hadn't seen one with a table for six. In fact, I had only seen one that had a table big enough even for four! Then, as we approached our last day in town, I happened across an ad for an apartment. Though I wasn't crazy about how it looked in the pictures, I immediately noticed the large dining room table! I messaged the relator and set up a time to look at it on our next to last day. As the time to look at it approached, I still wasn't crazy about how it looked. But the more I prayed, the more I felt at peace about this one apartment. The day arrived, and as I got to the apartment, I quickly realized the pictures posted online hadn't done this space justice! It was a great little apartment, with plenty of space for hosting people! I signed the contract the very next day, and am still praising God for how he provides!

Today I am finishing up the last of my packing here in Santandrei. With the Risner's help, I will be moved out by Wednesday! After that I will come back with the Risners to help them finish their packing, and we hope to all be moved out by August 13th! Please continue to be in prayer for this big move and transition. It is our first time to move in country, and we are both excited and nervous!
