One of the most respected and beloved saxophonists of his generation, he’s applied his warm, uplifting approach to 13 albums – including the Grammy nominated A Beautiful Life – and appeared on over 80 more.

Join Junior Messengers!


Our Jitterbugs teacher, Matt Buttermann, is holding a program for young instrumentalists at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry July 27-30.

Students will learn about playing jazz in a small ensemble and participate in sessions on jazz language, history, and performance practices. The ensemble will perform a short set in Pierson Park at the end of the program as part of the Jazz Forum summer concert series.

Jazz Forum Arts has Joined HCS to Improve the Environment by Minimizing Our Carbon Footprint


Don't send your food waste to landfills! Join your neighbors in reducing your carbon footprint and weekly trash output.

The Town of Greenburgh has partnered with Hudson Compost Services, a student-run startup, to provide you weekly food waste pickups similar to trash/recycling programs. HCS has a mission to make composting simple, efficient, and hassle-free.
