PHNRC Volunteer Workday 8/8/2021
When: Sunday, August 8th, 2021. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Where: Pollinator Park at Hillcrest Lake (See map below)
What: Site prep and planting.
Well, here is August and we are plowing right through the summer. This Sunday we will be at the Pollinator Park Project at Hillcrest Lake working in 2 areas. The base will be near 414 Hillcrest Drive where the north plantings are. We will be looking to finish those off. A second group will walk on down to near 408 Hillcrest drive where we will be clearing the last remnants of the buckthorn from the shoreline down south to Willow. The weather will be a crispy 91°, overcast with a chance of rain later in the day. Sunhats, sunscreen and a smile are in order but long pants and sturdy shoes are a must. You can get by with short sleeves.

We will supply water, snacks, all tools, bug spray, gloves, instructions and supervision. Agnes will be doing a tour at the end if anyone is interested in knowing more!
