Sacred Heart Church Rectory
Sunday, August 1 following 11:30 a.m. Mass

There's still time to RSVP for Sunday brunch! We're extending the deadline through Wednesday, July 28. Join us this Sunday for brunch with the priests of St. Jude Parish on the rooftop patio of Sacred Heart rectory. Meet the priests and mingle with other young adults of the parish. Please RSVP using the form linked below by July 28th to allow us to plan and prepare food. We hope to see you there!

Parish Volunteer Opportunity
ST. JUDE PARISH FESTIVAL
August 6-8, 2021 at St. Raphael Church Campus

Volunteers are needed for the Parish Festival! Sign up to help with food prep, game booths, and more. People are needed to help with everything from set-up to games and more. NIGHT OUT AT THE PIRATES
Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 7:05 p.m. at PNC Park

Join the young adults of St. Jude Parish for a night at PNC Park to enjoy a ballgame on Tuesday August 24 at 7:05 p.m.! All young adults are welcome. Tickets are $19. Please email michaelaromito@gmail.com if you are interested.

Ongoing Events

Looking for a way to meet other young adults in our parish and neighborhood? Meet up during one of our ongoing events. Following Mass, look for us at the entrance of the church.

Wednesday Mass & Social | St. Raphael Church - Join us for Wednesday evening Mass at St. Raphael Church followed by a social meetup with either a bonfire or outing. Rosary starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 7:00 p.m.

2nd & 4th Sunday Brunch | Sacred Heart Church - Following 9:00 a.m. Mass on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, meetup with other young adults to walk to S. Highland Ave. for brunch at The Urban Tap at 10 a.m.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

St. Anthony Chapel Relic Finder App
Volunteers needed for data entry!

Did you know St. Anthony Chapel in Pittsburgh has over 5,000 relics - the most anywhere outside of the Vatican?

A group of seminarians has been working to develop an app for St. Anthony Chapel called Relic Finder for visitors to explore and search the relic collection and to digitize the information available about the relics. Seminarian Erik Pintar is coordinating volunteers to help with the next phase of app development – relic data entry.

Image and Likeness:
an exhibition of sacred art
Aug. 12 - Sept. 17 | The Port, Lawrenceville

The Capuchin Friars have announced the opening of Image and Likeness, an exhibit featuring sacred art primarily from local artists. Several events will be hosted in conjunction with the exhibit. Learn more about the exhibit and the Assisi Art Community here.
