Friends of Warren County Park District

TECH-FREE TUESDAY AT ARMCO PARK 7/27/21!
Tomorrow’s #TechFreeTuesday will be a hot one, so make sure to wear sun protection and stay hydrated! We will be at Warren County Armco Park from 10-noon with a variety of free, fun, family-friendly activities!

Bring a FISHING POLE if you have one, or borrow one of ours! We will have free bait for the fish and ice water for the people.

Ohio Division of Wildlife Officer Keller and K9 Scout, and Bill Schroeder from Little Miami Conservancy will be mingling and helping kids learn to fish.

Friends of Warren County Park District, Rocknoll Energy Systems, and interns from Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be by the Solar Pollinator Habitat Discovery Trail to help you learn about pollinators, native plants, and solar energy!

Ohio Naturally will have a fun nature-themed craft in Shelter 30.

Warren County Children Services will be there as well with free pb&j and books (final week)! If you have school supplies you’d like to donate, bring them along.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DROP-OFF AT TECH-FREE TUESDAYS IN JULY
Would you like to donate school supplies for local families in need? If so, visit the Warren County Children Services #SpreadTheJoy PB&J van at Tech-Free Tuesdays in July, or contact Misty Treadway at 513-695-2486 or Misty.Treadway@jfs.ohio.gov.

STROLL FOR KINDNESS
What a magnificent day we had on Friday with Carol McCloud, author of "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" which is the book featured on our Storybook Strolls. THANK YOU to Roy Lutz and the Violence Free Coalition of Warren County, for putting together this fun event! Dozens of families got to enjoy the Nature Playscape at Armco Park, meet an author, explore the trails, and fill buckets with kindness!

Your financial support will enable us to meet our goals and continue our mission to support the Warren County Park District. Friends of WCPD is a tax exempt 501c3 non-profit organization. Individual memberships are $15.00. Additional donations are greatly appreciated!

Our programs' success is because of our wonderful supporters, including Friends of the WCPD, Park Staff and Commissioners, local nature professionals, and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists. If you know a teen looking for community service hours, please contact us!
