Off-Road Run - Caldy
Big thanks to Ian Laird for Chester Tri's Off-Road Run from Caldy. Beautiful trails and scenery.
A most excellent time was had by all.

Watch this space for future Off-Road runs...
Wirral Multi Terrain Series - Tuesday evenings throughout September.
We will be encouraging members to do these instead of our normal Tuesday evening club runs. They are fantastic races and it's a great opportunity to get together and race as a team.

Email nigeparr@gmail.com to pre-enter or on the night registration open from 6:15ish.

Bike Update

Coming up:

Evening and weekend rides
It is currently Women’s Festival of Cycling until 1st August. We have rides 29th July and one on 1st August. These rides are open to all, however they are a great opportunity for more women to get involved in group riding in the club.

There is a full complement of group rides planned for Thursday this week, Christine is leading a group 1 ride, Leigh is leading a group 2 ride and Dave B is leading a group 3 ride. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for more details.
Meet at 6:30pm at Sandy Lane Car Park - Miss it, Miss out!!!

Hannah O will be leading a ride with a coffee stop on Sunday morning. It is advertised as a group 2 ride, but we will go at the pace of the slowest rider. Look out for more details on the Facebook page, and the link to appear on nifty soon.

For group riding etiquette check out the webpage and this Youtube clip
See you on your bike.

Club Sportive

This year’s club sportive will take place on Sunday 15th August. Save the date!

We hope to have as many of you involved as possible to make it a fun and social day!
We have route planned for the following:
Group 1 - 50 mile (100km) route to Wem and back
Group 2 - 80 mile (130km) route to Shrewsbury and back
Group 3 - 100 mile (160km) route to Shrewsbury and back

Look out for the sign up link coming to nifty soon.
James Morgan has been scouting out the routes, and the bike leads hope to organise free nutrition to collect at the start, and hope to go to the Rake and Pikel (in Huntington) for a well deserved social drink at the end.

We will also need some navigators for the rides, if you are interested in assisting with this, we would really appreciate it. Please let us know below or email bike@chestertri.org.uk if you are available to help.
Our website is a great source of information - please visit!
