With your generousity, we are building wonderful support communities around the young people that we empower through mentoring and hands-on learning.
An example of this community can be seen through our Term Two Small Engines Program at the Beaudesert Workshop. TRACTION hosted six young people that were introduced to mechanical concepts and the operating principals of small engines, undertook fault diagnosis and problem-solving exercises and completed projects, such as servicing a Honda ‘postie’ motorcycle.
A key feature of our program is to introduce young people to motor bike safety with our ‘Kick Start Junior Motorcycle’ safe riding initiative.
The young people take away real-life skills and a sense of accomplishment, and we wanted to share some parent reflections that show the depth of impact our progams provide.
