Greetings Dear Colleagues,
Hope you and your families are doing well. As we enter the 2nd half of the year unfortunately the challenges posed by COVID continue in the form of new variants which continue to spread. The availability of vaccines gives hope but as we are aware their availability and distribution has not been equitable.
The spirit of human resilience has been demonstrated by the recent ongoing Summer Olympics in Tokyo Japan, where in spite of the enormous setbacks the athletes from all over the world have come together to celebrate the spirit of camaraderie and unity. In the same vein I hope vaccines will be made available for one and all irrespective of their geographic location and socio-economic status.
I would personally like to acknowledge the work being done by all of you on behalf of your national associations and MWIA in organizing meetings, webinars which is instrumental keeping the membership connected.
