Emails and more Emails...

As we count down to band camp forgive us for sending out several emails over the next few weeks.  They will all be filled with important information.  I encourage you to read them all, and maybe read them again :)

Meet Mr. Barnes and turn in your forms

Join us for the "Fall Sports Open House" on Thursday, July 29 from 6:30-7:30 in the main gym.  This will be your first opportunity to meet our new band director, Mr. Tyron Barnes, and you can turn in your Physicals and Emergency Care forms as well.  Don't miss out on this opportunity.

If you are unable to attend Thursday night - physicals can be turned in all this week in the Activities Office 9am – 2pm, and Mr. Barnes will be in the band room for the Emergency Care forms during this same time all this week as well.  Get those forms turned in this week!!  See attachments for the forms to turn in this week.

Band Camp Starts Monday, 02 AUG 2021

Meet in the band room at 8:30am, 02 AUG 2021.  See attached map for location.
The calendar has been updated online. Schedule will be as follows:
02-06 AUG: M-F 8:30-4:30 Bring your lunch
09-12 AUG: M-Th 6p-9p Dinner provided
13 AUG: F 8:30-4:30 Bring your lunch
16-18 AUG: M-W 8:30-4:30 Bring your lunch
19 AUG: Th 11am Freshman/Sophomore Orientation pep rally
20 AUG: F 5:30 Family Night Rehearsal

Band Camp VOLUNTEERS needed

Parents please stay tuned for a SignUp Genius that will come out this week looking for volunteers to support band camp. 2 volunteers for each shift, Morning, Afternoon, and Evening are requested to help man a snack table, mend minor scrapes and bruises, help set up for lunch and dinners, and generally lend a helping hand with anything that comes up.

Band Camp DONATIONS needed

The SignUp Genius will also include a call for donations for a PBJ lunch station. Students are encouraged to bring their lunches, but there will be sandwich making supplies for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Donations of bread, peanut butter, other nut butters, and various jellies and spreads will be needed to support this lunch making station.  We don't have a refrigerator for overnight storage, please donate taking this into consideration.
