Introducing "Soy in the City": Biodiesel Education Campaign
Empire Clean Cities is partnering with New York Corn and Soybean Growers Association (NYCSGA) to bring attention to the relationship with upstate New York corn and soybean growers and downstate biofuel and biodiesel fuel users. Through this campaign, we aim to highlight to special connection between stakeholders and share useful information about the viability of bio-based fuels to reduce harmful vehicle emissions and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
This month we are featuring Todd Du Mond from Du Mond Farms. Todd grew up on the family farm and continues to grow the operations and sustainability impacts to this day. Du Mond Farms processes about 2.5 million bushels, which is roughly a sixth of what NY State produces in terms of soybeans. Visit empirecleancities.org/soyinthecity to learn more about Todd, and don't forget to follow Empire Clean Cities on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter for more biofuel and #soyinthecity news!
