Hi <<First Name>>,

It’s true, we do have to wear masks indoors again. And— it’s not that bad! I’m not just saying this as the studio owner. It’s the comment I’ve heard from many people who’ve taken classes with masks on in the past couple of weeks.

To Breathe Easier:
  • For Vinyasa Flow Classes — The studio will be heated before class starts. We will turn the heat off once class begins. This will keep the studio cozy without feeling unbearable.
  • For Yin / Restorative and Candlelight Flow & Restore — For the more gentle classes, we’ll keep the heat going throughout class. We'll adjust with the fan or turn off the heater if it gets too stuffy.
Pro Tips for Masks:
  • Buff Multifuncitonal Headwear: My personal favorite to wear while practicing and teaching.
  • Athleta Activate: These masks are designed specifically for use during exercise.
  • Some people find the disposable masks easier to breathe in (although we hate to create more waste!)
Remember, child’s pose is welcome any time, and we still have a number of outdoor classes you can participate in mask-free!

  • Must register for classes in advance. (Sorry, no walk-ins.)
  • Class size limited to 12, with spaces marked for where to place mats.
  • Please bring your own props if needed. You can purchase used or order new props through the studio.
    • For Restorative / Yin classes: Please bring at least 1 block and 1 bolster (or bolster-sized prop like a long pillow, or blanket / towel that can be folded to a bolster shape.) If you don't have props, you can still join class and we can make adjustments.
  • Be respectful of others and please do not come to class if you have any symptoms of illness or known exposure to virus.
Studio Precautions:
  • Germicidal light bulbs installed.
  • Hand sanitizer available.
  • Classes will be heated to 80*F (instead of 85*F)
