Submit your Showcase Proposals Now!

Hello 223 community!

We are excited to once again be able to spotlight your talents and learning during the Summer semester of programming with our Arete Showcase Event on Thursday, August 5th, 2021.

We have just opened our showcase presentation submission form for eligible projects. It will be open until Saturday, July 31st, 2021 (11:59 pm). All student interns and students enrolled in Arete programs will be eligible to submit work for entry into the showcase event. Since there a limited number of spots, submit early!

Please review the form carefully. We expect it will take several hours to complete, AND it requires you to submit a portfolio project - piece of writing, video, or other project that highlights one skill you've developed this fall in one of your Arete programs.

All students who submit entries that meet the showcase submission requirements will be awarded a $100 gift card and the opportunity to be nominated for one of the $500 scholarships awarded live during the event.

We will be gathering an audience of school and Arete staff, funders, Arete board members, community members, families, students, and alumni to view the showcase from Thursday, August 5th from 2:00 pm - 3:45 pm where we will run a short full-group presentation followed by student-led presentations where audience members can interact with student presenters and learn more about their Summer semester experiences.

All Arete staff members running Arete activities will be able to assist students interested in making a showcase submission.
