Get Ready for our New Young Teen Collection!

Have you ever ventured into the Young Adult stacks and wondered what books were ok for a seventh grader?  Have you wandered the Juvenile fiction aisles and pulled one too many easy chapter books off the shelf? We may have a solution for you!

We are adding a new collection just for Young Teens that will be near the Young Adult collection at both libraries. Books that are written for grades 5 through 8 will now be together so that you can easily find them. Many popular series will be included like Percy Jackson, Artemis Fowl, Aru Shah and Ranger's Apprentice, along with many others. This doesn't mean you won't find these books in other parts of the library, you will. But they will also be together in one place to browse without books for older teens or books for beginning readers. Keep your eyes out in the fall for this collection. If you have a favorite book or series that you would like to see there, let us know!
