Learn to adjust a quilt pattern so your fabrics can shine! My video has helpful how-to advice. Let's scrap it up!
So you want to make it scrappy...

But what if you wanted to make it scrappy?
Photo used with permission of Quilter's World/Annie's. Designed by Lyn Brown. Quilted by Cathy O’Brien. Summer 2021 Quilter's World magazine.
In
my recent video
for Annie's and Quilter's World, I talked about converting a pattern like this one into a plan for a scrappy version.
Any guesses as to why you should take a good long look at the quilt in grayscale, also known as black and white?
It's because grayscale let's you see the values, also known as the lights, mediums and darks. This is essential!

The pattern is featured in the Summer '21 issue of Quilter's World. Digital edition available
here
.
I created this yellow and lavender version in EQ8 software from
The Electric Quilt Company
. Wouldn't it be fun to dig into your stash for this one?!
I also wrote a blog post on this topic.
Check it out!
