Can you believe it's nearly AUGUST?
Anyway - I have a lot of FUN for you in this newsletter. Damaged Gods released on Tuesday and the audiobook shot up the charts and (as of right now) is sitting at #1 New Release in Humorous Fantasy.
It's such a great audiobook and is performed by Hathaway Lee and Jason Clarke.

I used to hate sending newsletters. I just wonder sometimes if people even open them. Because I don't open most of my emails. Most of them just sit there in my in-box. But you know which ones I almost always DO open? The ones with pretty pictures. Like I get about five or six monthly subscription boxes. Most of them are YA book boxes. And I'm always opening those email newsletters because I know they're gonna have cool things to look at inside. So even if I don't buy anything, I like to look through them just to see pretty things.
That's why I started doing all these graphics for my newsletter this year. Maybe you don't want the books I'm highlighting in the newsletter, but it's still fun to look at the graphics. I spend a LOT of time on my newsletters. But the way I see it, this is not wasted time because some of you want what I'm highlighting and I actually LOVE making graphics. It's fun to me.
So every time I get ready to send a newsletter I go over to Creative Market (they sell graphic sets over there) and I go searching for a theme.
I went back and forth on the theme of this newsletter. I was gonna do something very "paranormal" but I didn't want it to be dark because Damaged Gods is a fun comedy. So I chose some graphics with fantastical elements, but whimsical too. Because Pie and Pell (my heroine and hero) are very whimsical creatures. This time I bought these watercolor moths and flowers and the watercolor fantasy animals. I bought some other sets too, but I decided not to use those.
So even if you're not interested in this book I hope you enjoy the pretty pictures! And if you ARE interested in the new release, I hope you LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Damaged Gods.
And seriously, the AUDIOBOOKS IS AMAZING! You won't be disappointed!

I growl at her. “Satyr chimera do not wear pants.”
“Well, the sight of said satyr chimera’s package is disgusting. And I refuse to talk to you until you put. On. Pants.”
“Package?” I mutter more to myself than to her.
But she answers me through clenched teeth. “Your dick.”
“My cock?”
“Yes.” She’s fuming now.
But I’m enjoying myself. I like her flustered because when she’s flustered, she’s tolerable. Amusing, even. “Does the sight of a man’s sex parts make you… tremble?”
“Tremble? No.” She points to my lower body and waves it her finger around in a circle. “This whole thing… I can’t. OK? I just can’t this morning. Just… cover it up.”
I look down at my package, then back up at the girl called Pie. “What’s wrong with it? None of the women I’ve pleasured have ever had any complaints.”
She scoffs. “Were they human?”
“I’ve had thousands of human women. Always satisfied.”
“Gross.”
