The Swan Song Project Bench Unveiled in Meanwood Park
In recognition of his work with The Swan Song Project, Ben Buddy Slack has been honoured with a handcrafted bench designed by Jay Blades from the hit BBC One show The Repair Shop.

The bench was recently unveiled in Meanwood Park (Leeds, West Yorkshire). It features design motifs of colourful musical notes and white swans plus an in-built QR code which allows visitors to the bench to listen to an audio recording of Jay Blades regaling Ben’s story. Read more about the bench here.

David Knott, Interim CEO of The National Lottery Community Fund said:

“I am proud to spotlight incredible individuals like Ben, from The Swan Song Project – they represent the best of human and community spirit.”

A big thank you to The National Lottery for their continued support.

Fundraising Update
We are a charity and rely on donations, large and small, to provide our unique songwriting service free of charge.

Can you help us to continue our work: celebrating lives, making memories and leaving legacies?

Your support will help us to be there for more people like Lauren, who wrote 'Dancing With Jeanie' with us and said:

"This song has been the best thing I have ever done to express my love and appreciation of my mum."

Our Fundraising Manager Gemma Cross would love to hear from you if you are able to support in some way. Email gemmacross@swansongproject.co.uk.
