We have an exciting new design to share with you...
REFRESH
During the last few months we have been reimagining our work in the atelier. We’ve been encouraged as many of you have stayed in touch since we closed in March 2020. Closure didn't stop you booking virtual appointments and more recently booking in person consultations for September. When you visit us you will see a refurbished atelier and feel our philosophy of well-being.
INTRODUCING THE SEMPLE LUXE LOUNGESET
Many of you will be wondering what the new "work uniform" will look like, as have we! With the prospect of hybridworking from home and in the office, trends show that we are all seeking comfortable garments that can be suitable for both environments. This is why we have designed this Semple Luxe Loungewear set for you.
The luxe top consists of an open crew neck trapeze shape with 3/4 sleeves and an open vented back, with button fastenings. The luxe bottoms are a loose, straight leg trouser with a high, thick elasticated waistband for extra comfort when seated. Let's face it - none of us want to let go of the elasticated trousers post lockdown!
The idea is that you can wear these two pieces together as a loose set or with the top tucked in to form a jumpsuit. You can also wear each garment separately to accompany the clothes in your wardrobe for a new lease of life. The top looks great with jeans and some fashion trainers as an example, or you may wish to pair your favourite knitted jumper with the trousers to wear to a meeting.
Our luxe loungesets are priced at £650.00 and are made from our new single wool crepes in sizes small (8-10) medium (12-14) and large (16-18). Dulcie wears the small as an average size 10 fit. If you require a petite or tall leg length, let us know and we can make your trousers to this measurement. Standard leg measurements are otherwise 32 inches long. Our luxe loungesets are fully lined too. You can also choose a contrasting colour for your buttons so you still have that Semple touch! Get in touch if you would like to place your order.
Some of you may have spotted Maggie in the news and seen our social media posts regarding her involvement with the Black British Voices Project.
The survey is sponsored by I-Cubed, a consultancy firm that Maggie co-founded with Jane Oremosu in 2020. The two other project partners are the University of Cambridge’s Sociology Department and Britain’s only national Black newspaper, The Voice. The aim is to provide an updated portrait of Black Britishness for the 21st century.
For more information about this project please click the button below or visit www.bbvp.org. If the survey is not for you, please forward the link to your friends, family, work colleagues.
