Identity Theft Week 4: Peter
Life is full of defining moments. Times when we either hold to our faith or cower to fear and doubt. This is Peter’s story before the resurrection of Jesus. Thankfully, he regained his identity in Jesus and became the “Rock” that Jesus said he was.
Join us, either online or in-person, as Pastor Tim Guptill continues with week 4 of our current series, Identity Theft.

Baptisms & BBQ
Sunday, August 8
We are celebrating baptisms after the 10:30 AM service on Sunday, August 8. As soon as the worship experience ends, we will travel down to the Nashwaak River together and collectively celebrate God's goodness to us as several individuals publicly profess their faith.
Following the baptisms we will fellowship together with a church-wide BBQ near the riverside. All are welcome!
If you'd like to register to be baptized on August 8, or you'd like to learn more about baptism, visit crosspointchurch.ca/baptism.

School Supply Drive
Aug 1 - Aug 29
Remember what it was like as a kid getting all the new shiny things for the first day of school? How about the excitement of having bright, unbroken crayons, pencils to sharpen, and the fun of new backpacks?
There is a large percentage of students in our region that come from homes that are below the poverty line, and those students deserve to feel the same excitement about school. So we have decided to do a backpack drive throughout the month of August.
Join us in blessing our schools and the next generation by brining any of the supplies listed below to Crosspoint during the month of August - either during office hours or on the weekends.
The supplies that teachers ask for include:
- Backpacks
- Markers
- Crayons
- Scissors
- Glue sticks
- Pencils
- Duotangs
- Erasers
Thanks for participating!

Communion This Weekend
August 1
During this weekend's services we will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. If you're planning to worship online with us at the 10:30 am service now would be a good time to ensure that you have some juice and bread available so you can fully participate with us.

Give
Because we serve a generous God, we believe that Christians should be the most generous people on the planet.
As a church, it is the generosity of our people that allows us to keep moving ahead with our vision.
