Call to a Special Meeting of Presbytery
Tuesday, August 3, 2021, 5:00 p.m.

At the request of the Committee on Leadership and the Committee on Ministers & Congregations, the Moderator has called a special meeting of Presbytery to approve:
 
  • The newly designed position of Organizing Pastor for The Gathering Place, a potential new worshiping community sponsored by Ignite and in partnership with Hanover Presbyterian Church;
  • Examine the Candidate (Brooke A. Scott, under care of Donegal Presbytery) for the two-charge ministry of Pastor to Church on Main (Middletown, DE) and Organizing Pastor for New Castle Presbytery for ordination; and 
  • Establish an Administrative Commission to ordain Brooke to the ministry of Word and Sacrament at a place and time to be determined

Monthly Clerk Training

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the monthly clerk training with Connectional Presbyter/Stated Clerk, Rev. Cindy Kohlmann.  The August edition details include:

Funeral Services for The Rev. Bob Prior

On Saturday, July 31st, Rev. Bob Prior's funeral service will be held at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church at 1195 Firetower Road in Colora, MD.  Visitation begins in the sanctuary at 10:00 am and the funeral begins at 11:00 am. 

Those who wish to attend the funeral may do so in-person (masks are required, regardless of your vaccination status) or online via Zoom. Contact the church if you wish to participate online via Zoom.

The NCP physical office has limited in-person hours, however the staff are available via email and cell phone.  Business hours, with noted sabbath exceptions, include: 

Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  (A staff person is available Monday and Wednesday in the office, however please call to confirm.)
Friday closed  (limited staff available via email)
