With over 300 members in more than 65 countries, the
International Coalition of Sites of Conscience offers unprecedented access to a range of sites and methodologies dedicated to connecting past struggles to today’s movements for human rights. To best share these resources, we offer multiple webinars every month.
In August, we are pleased to host three sessions. The first, on August 4th, will be a short webinar on "
Exploring Digital Dialogues" with Braden Paynter, Director of Methodology and Practice, who will suggest tools for engaging staff and visitors in dialogue on social media and other digital spaces. On August 19th, Linda Norris, Senior Specialist in Methodology and Practice, will host "
Art and Healing at Sites of Conscience," which will share members' experiences using art to help communities process the trauma of past experiences and creatively envision a new future. Finally, on August 25th, we will host a preview of our third and final
Global Workshop of the year, "
Challenging Bias Against Women and the LGBTQ+ Community," which focuses on countering violence against these marginalized groups. All webinars will be held at 10:00 am (EST-NY).

We are also pleased to announce the launch of "
Shared Journeys," a virtual exhibit hosted by our Asian and Pacific Sites of Conscience members that aims to amplify the lost, hidden, and sidelined histories of the Asian and Pacific region. Alongside the exhibit, each of our participating members will host an online discussion that is open to the public. For more information, please see below.
