Primary Care and COVID-19
The Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) recently released its annual evidence-based report, “Primary Care and COVID-19: It’s Complicated.” PCC’s research found there are three key factors – primary care access, strength of public health, and degree of social vulnerability – that when addressed at the county level in a collaborative and coordinated way could have an impact on a community’s preparedness for a future pandemic or other health emergency. The report analyzes primary care trends, looks at primary care, public health, and health equity during the COVID-19 pandemic, and explores emerging issues in primary care post-COVID-19. Check out the report here.
