Congratulations to our clients Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) who recently signed a $US250m framework agreement with a South Korean consortium for 20% of their Dubbo Project and offtake from the Korean Metals Plant. The Agreement represents an important step forward for the Dubbo Project. Read more here.

New & Sustainable Materials Challenge

Cicada Innovations & Biennale of Sydney have launched the New & Sustainable Materials Challenge to discover innovative and environmentally sustainable materials for the 23rd Biennale of Sydney Exhibition. Applications close August 27.
NSW Innovation Challenges
SMEs collaborating with researchers on solutions that strengthen the entrepreneurship capability of NSW should submit a proposal for the NSW Government Innovation District COVID-19 R&D Challenge.  Visit the Business NSW website to find the  Innovation Program partner organisations.
CSIRO ON Program
Researchers, Start-ups & SMEs with ideas aimed at tackling the challenges of "Towards Net Zero" or "Critical Energy Metals" are encouraged to apply for the CSIRO ON program. ON Prime is designed to help research teams of two to six people take their projects to the next level through customer discovery activities and more. Applications close August 20.
NSW Health Commercialisation Program
The NSW Health Commercialisation Program is powered by Cicada Innovations and offers researchers & clinicians deep-dives into medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, and therapeutics. Find out more and register for the first seminar on IP on August 17 here.

KCA Annual Conference - register now!

If you are interested or involved in industry engagement, commercialisation or technology transfer of Australian research then this is the conference for you. Interesting and informative sessions and an opportunity for you to build your networks.

The KCA Annual Conference is taking place on the 9 -10 September and registration is now open! The theme for the 2021 conference is Global Partnerships and Commercialisation. There will also be a pre-conference IP licensing workshop taking place on 8 September.

With covid lockdowns affecting VIC, NSW, SA and QLD over the last few months - Keep an eye out for updates on the Conference arrangements.
