"Developing a passion for Christ by equipping disciples & reaching the lost."
The author of Ecclesiastes reminds us that, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." We are quickly approaching the end of summer vacation and the beginning of a new school year for families across Hillsborough County. We are excited for what God has in store for these young minds and parents as they continue this journey towards growth and understanding. As we partner with families and students, we wanted to make you aware of several upcoming celebrations as we look to a new year. First, the morning of Sunday August 8th we will promote our rising 6th grade students from Children's Ministry to Middle School Student Ministry where they will continue to grow in their walk with Christ. Additionally, God has provided a new Reformed University Fellowship Campus Minister for USF just in-time for the Fall Semester to begin. His name is Aldo Mondin and we are hosting an ordination service at Redeemer Church on Sunday August 8th at 6:00PM in the evening where he will take his ordination vows and receive the laying on of hands by the elders and our entire congregation is invited to attend. Lastly, our Student Ministry will host their fall kickoff for students 6-12th grade on Wednesday August 11th from 6:30-8:30PM where we will compete in the Glow Games and have a taco bar. We hope you will join us in praying for these families as they begin a new year and seek to share the love of Jesus on their campus. May God Bless us as we minister in his name!
