We meet twice a week. For the safety and comfort of all our members, we currently only meet through Zoom.
Tuesdays with a Twist!
7:00 pm
Tuesdays are totally informal. We socialize, brainstorm, and get some words down on the page with timed writing sprints.
Thursday Gatherings
7:00 pm
Thursdays are a little more formal. We start out with some social time, followed by announcements, and then we split into groups for critiquing and fun writing activities.
You can expect Steve's Writing Corner on the 1st Thursday of every month and we usually have a guest speaker on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

Guest Speaker

On August 19, we invite you to join us for a presentation on "Expanding Your Story with Subplot" by guest speaker Jessica White. Jessica is a wonderful and inspiring writer. The following is from the About section of her website.
"I am a prayer warrior who loves to encourage and create safe spaces for the hurting and lost. I’m committed to living out God’s love and standing for equality, diversity, and justice in my community and publishing.
In 2014, I graduated from Western Governor’s University with a B.A. in Educational Studies and published my first book, Surviving the Stillness. I am a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Scrivenings Press, and represented by Hartline Literary Agency.
I am also a founding member of 10 Minute Novelists LLC, an international group for time-crunched writers. I created and manage their annual 365 Writing Challenge, which encourages writers to develop the habit of writing daily.
When I’m not writing or coaching fellow authors, I can be found spending time at my home in Oklahoma City with my husband and two daughters or curled up with a good book."

Due to the ever-changing situation with Covid-19, we've decided to put our anniversary picnic on hold. A new date and time will be announced in the near future.

On a brighter note, Writers in the Field is officially open this year! This event brings experts and writers together for a unique hands-on experience that you can't get anywhere else! It's set for October 9-10, and you do need to register in advance, so if you don't have your ticket yet, you can get one here. It's going to be an adventure!
