E-Weekly
Church of the Epiphany //
Thursday, July 22, 2021
The folks who feed the hungry each Sunday are inviting the Epiphany family to join in a celebration of our bounty this Sunday. The freezer is overflowing with turkeys that need to be cooked. After the meals are distributed to their regular customers, there will be plenty of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry jelly, and dressing to share. Please bring a side or dessert to round out the meal if you are able (this is not necessary to attend). Epiphany family near and far are invited to the celebration.

This will be a dine-in (Parish Hall) or take-out meal, available after the 11 AM worship service is over, say 12.15 pm. If you are unable to make it to the church, we would be happy to drop off a meal or two at your home, just let the office know.

We would truly love to see everyone!

If you are able to help in advance, Andrea & Mark will be at the church on Sat, July 24th, between 1-3 pm and would appreciate some extra hands.
Additionally, clean-up help afterward is always appreciated!

If you have room in your vehicle and a little bit of time, we can use help ferrying the leftovers to local charities. They usually pick up but have curtailed that service during these times of COVID. Grab a few boxes, a friend, and take a leisurely drive to your favorite Salvation Army or Goodwill location (or others you may support). Then stop off for a cold drink (and a puppuccino if your co-pilot is your dog) to reward yourself for a job well done. Thanks for helping to clear the hall before the MCT theater comes to town on August 2.

Calling all young thespians!

The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT)
is coming to Epiphany August 2-6 to direct and produce the musical "The Emperor's New Clothes."  Children who are entering 1st grade through 12th grade will work with the professional actor and director from the Theatre. Auditions, rehearsals, and the final performance will be held at Church of the Epiphany, 25 Church Hill Rd, Glenburn, PA. The final performances will be Friday, August 6 at 5:30 and 7 PM.

MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales . . . a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. Also included in the residency are three enrichment workshops presented by the Tour Actor/Directors. Creativity, social skills, goal achievement, communication skills, and self-esteem are all characteristics that are attained through participation in this unique, educational project. MCT's mission is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.

MCT requires that all people be masked.

Please email Rev. Lou at: divislou3@gmail.com  to register for auditions. For additional information on MCT please visit: https://mctinc.org/
