Sunday History Programs Planned at Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site
FORT ABERCROMBIE, N.D.–The public is invited to Sunday History Programs at 2 p.m. Aug. 8 and 22 at Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site. These events are free and open to the public.
Aug. 8 “Seven Saloons and the Hurdy Gurdy House,” a program by public speaker Carole Butcher, who will be joining the program virtually.
Aug. 22 "Song Catcher: The Hunt for Prairie Ballads," a history presentation and music performance by Thomas Isern, history professor, North Dakota State University.
Fort Abercrombie is a state historic site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Summer hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Admission is $8 adults and $3 youth.
