#5. Help Keep Our Masjid Safe
|
|
With the horrific events that have claimed Muslim lives in Christchurch (New Zealand), Quebec City, Toronto, and London (Canada), Muslims around the world fear for their safety when they come to the masjid.
That’s why one of the greatest priorities for any masjid is safety and security.
Masjid ar-Rahmah (Mosque of Mercy) prides itself on providing a safe, welcoming environment for all people who enter through its doors.
Based on thorough security assessments and audits, we have highlighted enhancements for our security needs. The estimated costs for the upgrades are $200,000. So far we have raised $80,000 (40% of the target already). We need your help to raise the remainder.
Your donation will be used to make the masjid and our community safer.
We want to keep our community safe. We need your help to donate and support our campaign.
|
|
We are partnering with Islamic Relief Canada for this special Dhul Hijjah campaign.
They will be matching any funds that are raised for our LaunchGood campaign. For every $2 that is raised, Islamic Relief will add $1.
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said that Allah (SWT) says in a hadith qudsi: ‘Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’ [Saheeh Bukhari]
