Ready for the Turnover Tsunami? 🌊

JULY 2021

The volume of articles, podcasts and blog posts about the impending "turnover tsunami" has reached a fever pitch. If you believe the predictions, we'd better prepare for a mass departure of employees. Personally, I've seen an uptick recently in people reaching out to me, seeking advice for how to make a move from a corporate job to something more entrepreneurial.

As we emerge from COVID, employees are increasingly demanding more flexible and fulfilling work, and if companies want to hold on to their people, they're going to have to up their game. And that's good news for all of us, as it means better experiences for employees, and more challenging and important work for us as communications and engagement experts.

We're thrilled to have Catrina interning with the research team this summer! She is an Industrial and Organizational Psychology doctoral student with a data science concentration. Among her many academic endeavors, Catrina works in a leadership lab studying leadership development, and is now creating a program of research in job attitudes and perceptions. She joins us from the great state of NJ where she resides with her adorable pitbull named Roxie!
