[How We Helped a Retirement Community Save 71%]

Carroll Lutheran Village is big, with 1,000 residents living on a peaceful, scenic campus that embraces its natural surroundings — but uses a lot of energy.

So the owners of the Maryland retirement community began searching for ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

At VLED Energy, we’ve expanded our services through the years. We take a holistic approach to energy and environmental management. But we got our start in LED lighting, one of the most economical ways to be more energy efficient.

We were proud that the people of Carroll Lutheran put their faith in us to join their green initiative. Today they report some big results: They’ve reduced lighting consumption by 71% — saving 421,270 kwh of energy.

Recently we spoke with some of the people we worked with on the project, and created this video to show you some of the changes. We appreciate them sharing their experiences and hope you enjoy.

Our team is here to answer any of your questions. Email us anytime, and thanks for your support.
