New Prisoners’ Inventions Poster

This month we have a new poster, a handful of new publications from other projects and friends, a Temporary Services booklet that’s been out of stock for a long time (we found some more!), and we’re closing with a shout out to some of the new stores and old friends that have been helping us fling our publications out into the world. Thank you for following our work and stay tuned next month for news of an actual in-person (outdoor) book fair we’ll be taking part in.

We have a brand new Prisoners’ Inventions poster designed by Partner and Partners, the amazing folks who did the graphic design for the new edition of the book. Copies of the poster are free to everyone who buys books from us, or it can be purchased separately.

In June, Marc participated in the wonderful series that Booklyn is doing that they call “My Favorite Book.” He spoke with Monica Johnson, the Executive Director of Booklyn, about Prisoners’ Inventions.

This booklet was our first publication focusing on documentation of Public Phenomena. We found a small stash of copies in our storage unit but after these, that’s probably it!

STORES & DISTRIBUTION:

One of the exciting things that has been happening lately is that many book stores are cautiously opening for browsing again, and some people are even opening new stores. In addition to our usual favorites like Printed Matter and Quimby’s in both NY and Chicago, some of the places that have recently stocked and restocked our work are: Woodland Pattern Book Center and Lion’s Tooth Books in Milwaukee; Communication in Madison; Build Coffee, Pilsen Community Books, Inga, and Buddy in Chicago; London Centre for Book Arts and The Bower in the UK; Metropolis Bookshop in Melbourne; Tommorrow Today in Pasadena; LikeMindedObjects in Hudson, NY; Booklyn in NYC; Microcosm in Portland; and einBuch.haus in Berlin.

If you have a store or are doing an event and would like to carry our books, reach out and we’ll set you up with a wholesale account. We’d love to work with you on whatever scale works for you.
