WOW!

It's only Day 3 of the Global Solidarity Challenge and we're 60% of the way to our goal of $20,000💚✨

We want to thank everyone that has taken the time to donate and participate, this would not be possible (or fun!) without you. We really do feel connected - to you, each other, and the land. Today we are going to share some of the creative, inspiring and thought-provoking challenges folks are doing to help us reach our goal!
Donate!

We love a bit of friendly competition - who's in the lead?

1. Ewe Got Mail surpassed their goal and is sitting at $4,667
2. Social Butterflies snuck into second with $2,756
3. Dandy Lions aren't far behind with $2,475
4. Team Aunties have raised $1,965
5. Bee Connected has raised $555

Check out these awesome challenges!

"As an Indigenous person I’ve been triggered by seeing Canadian flags proudly represented in our community." - Taleetha

Team Aunties gathered to reclaim flags by creating their own! They used statements and symbols that are meaningful to them, and addressed issues they want their communities to talk about.

Donate to Team Aunties!
Bertha, on team Bee Connected, spoke to a local shopkeeper about the importance of protecting bees! 🐝

Kira started an Ethical Food Sourcing blog where she will post about a new food-related topic each day. Check out her first two posts on packaged foods and ethical ranching.

Donate to Kira, and team Ewe Got Mail🐑
Lili, from the Social Butterflies, will be running the 45 km Skyline Trail in Jasper, AB in ONE day with a few family and friends, reflecting on her connection to the land.

Support Lili on this long day by donating!
Veronica, also on team Social Butterflies, is sharing a new message each day, beginning with the importance of advocating for the girl child during the COVID-19 pandemic, which remains rampant in Zambia.

Donate to Veronica here.
Hillary used Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson framework for figuring out what *she* can do about the climate crisis, and encouraged others to do the same. Follow this framework to think about YOUR role🌏

Donate to Hillary!
Shelby is sharing facts about traditional plants Indigenous to her area - beginning, very appropriately, with the dandelion! Shelby shared: "as often as they are seen as an annoying weed, they have superpowers! Our translation of "dandelion" is Spring Flower! They announce the changing of seasons, how kind of them to let us know!"

Donate to Shelby!

We are so excited about all of these incredible challenges, and the ones still to come!

A HUGE thank you to all of those that have donated and participated in challenges. We wouldn't be able to make our $20,000 goal without this incredible community! 💚
